Labor Day

Aunty Robyn being silly

Marty on his way to work night shift
Uncle Jim
Grandma and Grandpa
Dad and Sue

On Sunday night, we drove to Baraboo and stayed at Marianne and Jim's house. They were on vacation till Monday night. It was just like being at home. Toys, kid gear, kid food, even a cat. My sisters and I might live far apart, but we are a lot alike. I like to look in her makeup drawer and see what I need to buy when I get home. I also got to use her Philosophy products that I miss.

Since Uncle Jim's birthday was the 28th we celebrated together on Labor Day. My Dad grilled barbecued pork steak (yummm) and Sue had a potato dish, fruit salad, corn and my favorite thing she makes....baked beans!! For dessert, everyone had birthday cake but I had fresh homemade apple pie from the local apple orchard. Everyone gasped at the huge piece I took. I don't think people who eat slivers of pie should be trusted. What's the point?

Robyn and Marty were off of work so we all hung out and bonded. Grandma and Grandpa Schreiber were there, too. It was great to see everyone.

Rob installed a new storm door for my Dad and Sue and after Marianne and Jim came home, the kids rode bikes and played outside.
