Peeling Carrots

Liv helped make chicken soup this week and peeled some carrots for the first time. She actually asked me to take a picture for our blog!

Congratulations Robyn!!!

Dad, Robyn, Sue
Dad and Robyn
My baby sister, Robyn, graduated from a Medical Assisting Program on Saturday. I am so proud of her! I'm proud that she followed in my footsteps into the medical field. We're a lot alike, so I know she's well suited for this profession. Good Luck in your new career, Fod!

Trashed Picked Grill

Sanding the boards
This is the before picture of our grill. We trash picked it in Laguna Niguel about 18 years ago. It has lasted us this long! Rob decided to spruce it up yesterday with some paint and sanding.

This is after a little TLC!

Yard Sale Find

On Saturday morning, Daddy was working, so Liv and I went garage/yard sale-ing for the first time this season. The first place we stopped had this Little Tikes log cabin. Olivia immediately started playing in it while I browsed. I heard a man ask how much it was and the lady said $10. Wow! I gave her a ten as fast as I could! Such a deal. Thanks, James and Arcelia for helping me get it home! Rob pressure washed the heck out of it and it looks great. Olivia loves it!! We plan to have a garage sale soon. Hopefully someone will be just as happy to get our junk!

Stroller Derby

The knee sock are pure Olivia!

It has been like summer here the past week. A lot of playing outside, bike riding, skating, etc. All the neighborhood girls were strolling with their babies and I had to take a group picture!

More San Diego Memories...

My little monkey enjoying her very first "Room Service" experience. She said, "Daddy, are you sure it's ok to eat in bed?" She loved the tiny ketchup bottles, too.

The view from our hotel room
Fresh fish...Mmmm, I miss this so much!
We ate at this yummy seafood place on Mother's Day. It kinda reminded me of Fisherman's in San Clemente.

Seaworld

Nick, Liv and Amanda
Isn't he adorable??
Olivia fed them fish (well, Rob did. She didn't want to touch the slimy fish)

So cute! This was my favorite exhibit.

The new Sesame Street Bay of Play
Bryan and Dylan
These girl cousins love each other! The haven't seen each other since November, but they picked up right where they left off.

I love Dolphins, being that I am one! A Dana Hills Dolphin that is!Shamu
Liv enjoying her huge waffle cone with chocolate ice cream (what else?)
Notice she is still wet from the dolphin show. We all got drenched because we sat in the soak zone. I got the worst, I think. I even got water in my mouth (yuk! it tasted like salty squid)
waiting for ShamuThe gang

Fast asleep, dreaming of Shamu!

The Beach!!!

I miss seaweed! Is that a strange thing to admit???

We went to Coronado for a quick trip to the beach before the wedding. It was Jodi's first trip to the ocean. Olivia was right at home, which made me happy. She is definitely our kid! I wish we could have a house in CA and in Flagstaff. The best of both worlds.

Getting water for the perfect castle!

V + J on their honeymoon

On the way back to the hotel to shower before the wedding. My little beach bum! She had sand from head to toe!
