The Landlord

OK, everyone has seen this, but I still think it's hysterical. Pearl rules!

A really cool tree picture...I love all of the frames!

Or are these better? I like both of them!

Matching Velvet stockings! I love these. Only $10 each now.

Okay, now I'm going crazy, but Olivia would LOVE this kitchen set. Or maybe I would! How beautiful is it? Yes, it's on sale for almost 50% off! I could pretend cook all day and serve food to my dollies, oops, I mean Olivia could do all of that!

Bedding for Olivia! I've had my eye on this one, and now it's on sale! (still ridiculously overpriced, but fun to dream!)

napkin rings for the holiday table....on clearance, set of 6 for $11.99!

ornaments for next year...I love tiny, pretty frames as ornaments. Especially with black and white photos.

cool sofa pillows....

My Virtual after Christmas Shopping Trip

I felt like doing some shopping at the "after Christmas sales" but with Scottsdale Fashion Square 2 1/2 hrs away and The Shops at Mission Viejo 7 hrs away, I thought I'd just pretend. (Oh yeah, I have no money either!) Anyway, these are some of the sale items I'd buy if I could, from Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids.

My Beautiful, Silly Sisters.....

Here they are before and after using "Lip Plumper"

Family Christmas in Wisconsin

Okay, enough pictures of Olivia for now! Here are some of my niece, Rachel and nephews, Jaron, Payton and Nolan. I'm biased, but aren't they adorable kids??? I'm so sorry we couldn't fly in this year....hopefully next year we can all have Christmas together!

Posing on the way to the library.....

Grandma and Grandpa Visit

Grandma and Grandpa Gogue visited from Wisconsin yesterday and today. We ate mostaccioli and sausage and salad. Olivia loved playing with Grandma and showing off all of her new dollies. They played piano and we all just listened to Christmas music and pretended it was still Christmas. Later, we went out for an eggnog latte and cafe mocha.

More Family Pictures...

Christmas Dinner in Sedona

We went to Tom and Karen's house in Sedona for dinner last night. Karen is a wonderful cook, and she made a full turkey dinner with everyting! I had to take a picture of her beautiful table. Mark and Nancy (more CA transplants) were there with Lizzy the dog. Olivia and I just love Lizzy! Uncle Tom and Aunty Karen got Olivia a Doodle Pro and a stuffed doggie!! We came back up after eating homemade apple pie! Yum!

Christmas Morning!

Olivia asked Santa for a Barbie and a baby, and he brought her both!

Merry Christmas Eve....

Well, we are all still sick here, but it is Christmas Eve, so I made Chicken Parmesan and mashed potatoes. (In honor of Ann, of course) It was actually really good, but remember we have no taste buds right now. Olivia and I baked some chocolate chip cookies for Santa and put out a glass of milk. We also put out carrots for the reindeer. (We saw that on Calliou) Better get some sleep, I hope I don't cough all night again! Santa will hear me and not want to come down the chimney!

Olivia and Daddy Painting

Liv loves to paint right now. Painting and cooking are her two favorite activities inside. Tonite, she's been taking it easy because she's had a fever for the last day or so, but she was well enough to paint a while. I couldn't find her art smock, so she wore her apron to protect her new Christmas jammies.

Here's Olivia admiring the "White Trash" we made earlier this week.

The Day After the Storm

What a difference one day makes! Isn't it beautiful?

Gingerbread House

We were invited to Isaac's house to help decorate his gingerbread house. Olivia and Isaac had a great time and Olivia had her first M&M! Once she realized the decorations were edible and yummy, it was all over!
