Today, Olivia and I went to Isabella's 1st birthday party. Pete and Eilise had a beautiful "Japanese Cherry Blossom" themed party. Pete made sushi, nothing raw, just smoked salmon and cream cheese and California rolls. They were so fresh and yummy. The other moms all stood around to watch Olivia scarf them down. They had never seen a 2 year old eat sushi! They should see her eat miso with tofu!! Anyway, the favors were asian take-out boxes with fans on top and filled with personalized fortune cookies! Amazing!! They were so pretty. The cake was so beautiful I can't believe they cut it! Bella and Olivia played together very well and Liv also had fun playing with the big girls. I forgot to get a picture of the chopsticks with pink and brown ribbon...too cute! It's no wonder Eilise is starting a wedding planning business; she's very talented.
