Lucy had her four month check up and Dr. Berger said we could start her on rice cereal. It didn't go so well as you can see. She's not ready, in my opinion. I made it REALLY thin, but no interest at all. I was afraid Lucy was getting a bit chubby....compared to Olivia anyway. She weighed in at 12 lbs 10 oz which is only the 27th percentile. Her height is 26 inches which is the 96th percentile!! The Dr said she's gonna be tall and skinny (like her Grandpa Lanssens :)) That explains why she's wearing 6-12 mo clothes already. Her head circumference went from 58the percentile to 85th percentile in one month. I guess you could say she's getting a "big head" from all of the attention we give her!

Better view, mad baby!

Applesauce, now that's good!

awe...so cute!! we skipped the rice cereal all together and went for protein. have you tried and egg yolk.. just soft boil it add a spot of good butter.. yum. i have a cookbook called "nourishing traditions" which talks about traditional first foods for baby and the health benefits.
Thanks Aubrey! I'd love to get some tips from you on this! I see there is a meeting coming up, I'll see if I can get there. By the way, I'm loving Avi's clothes, Lucy fits into a lot of them already! Thanks again!
